In a tragic incident in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, a bride was shot dead inside a beauty parlour just moments before her wedding. The victim, 22-year-old Kajal from Bargaon in Sonagiri, Madhya Pradesh, was preparing for her wedding when the accused, identified as Deepak, entered the salon and opened fire. Kajal was immediately rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries during treatment. The shocking event occurred while the wedding rituals were underway at the Nisha Garden marriage hall in Jhansi, filled with guests and relatives.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the motive behind the murder is unaccomplished love. According to witnesses, Deepak, who is believed to be from the same village as Kajal, called out to her, accusing her of betrayal before forcing his way into the parlour and shooting her. Police were promptly informed by the parlour staff and Kajal's relatives. Jhansi police have confirmed that Deepak was an acquaintance of Kajal and a search operation is ongoing to apprehend him.
